Machiara National Park

Nestled in the Pir Panjal Range near Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, Machiara National Park offers breathtaking mountain scenery and diverse ecosystems. Established in 1996, the park spans over 13,532 hectares, encompassing alpine meadows, sub-alpine scrub, and dense coniferous forests. Its diverse flora and fauna include the Himalayan black bear, snow leopard, and musk deer, along with various bird species.
