Shandur Lake

Shandur Lake is a stunning high-altitude lake located in the Chitral district of Pakistan, at an elevation of 3,700 meters above sea level. Known as the "Roof of the World," it is surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Hindu Kush range. The lake is a popular destination for tourists and adventurers, offering breathtaking views and opportunities for fishing, picnicking, and horseback riding. Each year, Shandur Lake is the site of the famous Shandur Polo Festival, where teams from Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan come together to compete in the world's highest polo ground.
